The Municipal Health Office (MHO) of the Local Government Unit of Tubigon conducted a mobile blood donation campaign at Bohol Electric Cooperative 1 (BOHECO).

A team of Medical Technologists  of Governor Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital (GCGMH) spearheaded by Nestor Bompat, RMT facilitated the blood collection in partnership with Municipal Health Office staff.

Twenty-six (26)  BOHECO 1 employees were screened and successfully donated bags of precious blood. The Mobile Blood Donation is a semi-annual activity of Municipal Health Office. This activity promotes awareness to everyone the importance of Blood Donation among Tubignons. Through the Mobile Blood Donation Activity of the Municipal Health Office, LGU-Tubigon was conferred a Bronze Citation Award for LGU Category for obtaining a Blood Donation Rate of between 0.40% and 0.69% for the year 2017
