It was 1 month after the validation of Local Health System of MHO Tubigon by DOH Region VII evaluating team.
Municipal Health Office of Tubigon conferred numerous DOH Awards to wit:
- 1st Runner up in Outstanding LGU IN Local Health System and cash cheque worth 150,000 pesos;
- 4th Top perfoming LGU on increased LGU Budget to Health;
- Plaque of Recognition for Universal Healthcare Implementor; and
- 6 awards for Zero Open Defecation Barangays (Cabulijan, Cahayag, Ilijan Sur, Panadtaran, Villanueva, Ilijan Norte)
Hon. William R. Jao, Municipal Mayor together with Dr. Bob Bernabe P. Batausa and Dr. Marvinson Fajardo and 6 Punong Barangays awarded as Zero Open Defecation receives the DOH awards last November 15, 2018 at Cebu Grand Convention Hotel, Cebu City. Achieving the awards is a collaborative effort of Municipal Health Staff and Barangay Health Boards (BHB) in delivering Health care services to the health needs of the target populations.
